Dr. Ozlem Goker-Alpan received her M.D. degree in 1990 from Marmara University School of Medicine, Istanbul Turkey with the highest honors as first in her class. After completing her training in Pediatrics, then served as a Pediatric Chief Resident at SUNY at Stony Brook, New York. She received further training in Clinical and Biochemical Genetics at the National Institutes of Health, Greater Washington Medical Genetics Program in 1999, and worked as an adjunct scientist at the National Child Health Institute.  She completed her fellowship in the Lysosomal Storage Disorders and Gaucher disease at the Clinical Neuroscience Branch, NIMH. As a senior staff fellow,  she was responsible from the Gaucher Clinic at the Medical Genetics Branch of the National Human Genome Research Institute. Since 2010, Dr. Goker-Alpan has been the President and Chief Medical Officer of at O&O Alpan LLC, and the director of Lysosomal Disorders Unit. She also oversees the clinical research at CFCT.   At O&O, her mission is to provide personalized medical care for rare and chronic disorders, and promote patient access to varied therapeutic options.  In the field of Lysosomal Disorders, she is an advisor to the pharmaceutical industry and collaborates with patient advocacy groups.

Dr. Oral Alpan, An Allergist and Clinical Immunologist and the Director of Immunopathogenesis section at O & O Alpan, LLC.  He is also the founder of Amerimmune, the only commercial Flow Cytometry program that provides clinical laboratory immunology services. Dr. Alpan is also the co-director of Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders unit. He has been a principal investigator in Phase II, III, IIIb and IV studies, and authored many publications in basic and clinical immunology and allergy.
